They Need Your Help!
Despite The Gambia legally outlawing child marriage, it is unfortunately still an extremely common occurrence.
It is reported that 1 in 3 girls are a victim to child marriage in The Gambia that is not only a brutal violation to their human rights but is also a gender-based violation that no child must be forced to endure. Your proactivity can help save these girls from maternal mortality, statutory rape, sexual assault/abuse of a minor, the spread of STDs like AIDS and plausible mental trauma/suicidal tendencies. One of the major factors influencing this crime is the financial status of many families. The poorer the girl, the higher the risk of being subjected to child marriage.
We are not trying to sell you a situation, we are merely shedding light on the reality of so many children and asking you to help save a child from being abused.
Every single one of your donations matter. Help save a girl child today!

Why Educate Girls?
Girls' education, in particular, provides substantial advantages. It minimizes the rates of youth marriage, encourages healthier households, raises women's wages and employment opportunities, and enables women to become community and government leaders. We are convinced that it is only through education, particularly education of the girl child, that we can make the world a better place; and conscious of the fact that millions of girls around the world lack the basic support to attain quality education. With your support and sponsorship we intent to give girl hope.
